This week we're continuing to remove the concrete floors at ground level so we can pour back the tiered levels for the new classroom spaces. We're also removing the rest of the concrete slab at the second floor to make way for the new stair.
Outside we're continuing to install the asphalt shingle roofing and we're setting the feet for the photovoltaic system at the south elevation.
We are ramping up the mechanical, electrical and plumbing coordination on the office side of the construction equation. The building has an advanced mechanical system with radiant heating and cooling ceiling panels in most rooms. The sophisticated system requires a lot of up front work from the interfacing trades.
